Get to know Artist Kashmir Thompson

It has been a long time since I featured some dope art. I ran across some the other day that made me appreciate the human race a little bit more. 

First, lets focus on the fact that this artist is painting my entire 90's child hood and everything that Dave Chapelle is. Kashmir Thompson is an artist based out of Ohio and creates beautiful masterpieces of sitcoms and her love for black pop culture. From sets, to pillows, bags, and more.

Can we just get into this painted set of every Chappelle shows greatest skits? I just want this in my living room, right above the couch.

Or this Different World set that I would put in my hall way heading towards my bedroom.

Or this Martin set that I would put into my kitchen.

The shit is just dope! I did mention pillows right?

Faux Fur x Sunglasses

It's Wednesday, I know I am late, what else is new? Memorial Day weekend is now a thing in the past and I look forward to the Fourth of July. My favorite holiday. Anyway, I have been busy putting together some dope accessories that I am now selling, just in time for summer.

I wore some of it over the weekend, while enjoying some local pool party festivities.

I went to my favorite hotel here in AZ, The Saguaro Resort. I go a few times a year because it feels like I am on vacation without leaving the city. I am also fond of the colorful walls for my pics lol.

This or That - Aquazzura Fringe Heels

I don't know about you, but I have been seeing these Aquazzura heels every where. When I first saw them, I was just thinking they were cute, but not $785 cute. I actually think the Steve Madden fringe sandals are a lot cuter, but I'll digress.

As much as I love heels and Aquazzura, I want my heels to look like $785. I think to spend that kind of money on anything, it better be a classic and quality item. Nothing wrong with splurging, as long as you get a bang for you buck. 

Anyway, it has been a while since I did a price comparison. I ran across a more affordable version of the heel the other day and had to share it.

Stripes x Platforms

This week and weekend has been crazy busy for me. I just came back from L.A. for business and working on a few things. I will hopefully be ready to share with you next week. My finals are over and summer is officially here for me. I feel like a kid again and now have more time on weekends. I can drink my wine on a Sunday night, without worrying about falling asleep on assignments, HA!

Anyway, this post is long over due, so I will make it short. I am in love with this green skirt. 

Leopard Print x Vegas Pics

It's Friday! Can you believe that clothes are still in my suit case? That's how busy I have been. Now that school is out, I am preparing for summer. Which means more traveling and more goals to accomplish.

I decided to live in denim cut off shorts this summer on my most lazy days. I have been buying them left and right since March. Shout out to Arizona for staying in decent temperatures so far. It hasn't reached the triple digits yet. I also decided to share all of my basic Vegas selfies and pictures at the end of this post.

Also shout out to Steve Madden for keeping my feet in some sexy heels this summer. I needed animal print pumps, but happy I found them in sandals instead.

Lavender x Denim

I am coming down from an almost nervous breakdown lol. I thought that my blog was over and had to switch to another platform. Crisis averted and now I can continue throughout my day. My pictures were posting extremly blurry earlier. Blogger changed their auto settings, which was an easy fix for me.

I was already thinking of switching to Word Press lately, so this just makes my decision a bit easier. It also reminds me to backup everything I have, just in case someone at Google decides to delete my life from here lol. Am I overreacting? The blog is my baby and actually pulled me out of a depression state, so I take this seriously.

I also have zero patience and high levels of anxiety, which makes me wonder why would anyone give me a CPR certified certificate. I would be calm enough to save a life, yet crying while doing it. Maybe it is the Cancer in me.

Summer White x Chunky Heels

Sorry I have been missing a bit this week, but I didn't come back into town until Monday night and I have finals. Thankfully I captured these photos before I left, because I am swamped. 

I have been sleeping off all of the hard partying and alcohol binge. Popped some weak Tylenol because I am getting old and hard to keep up with the younger crew.  I had so much fun and took a lot of photos. Most of them are selfies with my friends, but I might share them later in the week.

For now lets get into this all white look, just in time for the summer.

Vegas Day 1 x Fringe

I am here in Vegas, it is crazy packed and my schedule is tight. Meeting up with some old friends that are in town and day drinking starts at 11am. Since it has been a month since my first alcoholic beverage, I am starting off slow with mimosas and lots of water still. 

I was smart enough to get a suite with a kitchen, so I can properly feed myself in-between meals. There are no clocks on the strip, they don't want you to now know what time it is, so you can forget about your life lol. Not to mention a hotel charged me $20 for a lemon once here. Nah son.

It is easy to skip meals when drinking and having fun, making you dehydrated and exhausted, not to mention the heat. So I am using the kitchen to store loads of fruits, snacks, and something I can heat up quick, while I am getting dressed and taking cat naps.
