Happy Halloween!

Halloween is here and I am getting ready for the festivities. A quick flashback of a creepy fall look. You can view the original post for this look here.

Back to schedule next week, until then here are a few Halloween celebrity costumes.

Tomboy, Boots, and Leather

So I came across these cute boots on a online site, that I should probably frequent more often. I have been looking at lace up thigh high boots ever since I saw Tom Ford's designs, but without going broke. Tom Ford's designs and a few replicas are priced from $1200 - $300. Although $300 is a decent price for boots, I get a little skeptical spending that amount on a brand I am not familiar with. I also have to consider how often I can wear them while living in Arizona.

The boots were only $50! I wanted to wear them right away, but wasn't sure if I should wear a blazer or which blazer to wear. So I wore them all to let you decide.

Fashionable Halloween Clothing & Accessories with Asos

Halloween is next week, which means parties, cocktail hours, and festivals. I don't know about you, but I don't have much time and actually a bit too lazy to go all out on a costume this year. Halloween is another favorite holiday for me because it brings out the creativity in people. So if you don't have the time to get creative, yet you don't want to show up in the same $20 costume as everyone else, I suggest going cute, fashionable, and unique.

I am currently looking to add cute accessories to clothing that I already have. I stumbled upon my favorite online shopping site and they have tons of options. Hats, clutches, crowns, and dresses, that you can wear more than once a year.

Lets start with my favorite piece, this amazing hat and veil...

Veils:

How simple? Veils have been a trend for everyday looks since it first made it's debut on the runways a few seasons ago. This is also a look you can create at home by adding ribbon and veil tulle to a hat.

I am obsessed!

Sequined Skirt - Indian Summer

I am not sure if Phoenix can actually have Indian Summers, but I am going to just go with it. It is finally cooling down here and I can now dress in layers. It is difficult trying to capture these moments for you guys with the heat, but I make due. Technically we are still having pool parties, Bar B Q's, and festivals. This is now our summer and I remember why I chose to move here from Chicago.

Although it is still summer here, this will be my last real summer look. I just ordered some thigh high boots and chunky knits that I cannot wait to share.

I purchased this skirt at Nordstrom's Savvy section. I love their line. The details are beautiful and my new favorite piece.

L.A. - Life x Fashion x Booze x New Friends x After Party

Finally, I finished sorting through all of my pictures and videos from L.A. Fashion Week and a few Phoenix events. As I said before I am still struggling with living in moments, while still trying to capture it. I think I am doing much better, this time I left the camera at home and just utilized my camera phone. I would prefer to have most pics a bit clearer, but this was a test for me. So it seems like I should invest in a smaller camera for when I am on the go.

Instead of placing the pictures in sections, I put them in order of how each event occurred. This is what I was able to capture between shows, outfit changes, driving, conversations, and low phone battery. Hope you enjoy...

I woke up at 3AM to get on the road to Cali and these were the amazing views I captured along the way. It kept me awake and motivated.
Pants: H&M; Shoes: Nine West; Shirt: Marshalls
Even  though I have had weeks to prepare for the events, I didn't have time to think about what I was wearing. So when I made it to Cali, I decided to throw on this all denim look for the day time shows.

L.A. Fashion Week Spring 2015 - Designer Favorites

Before I post my personal pictures and thoughts about my recent L.A. Fashion Week adventures, I wanted to share my favorite designers.

Lets start off with my personal favorite...

Odylyn - The Ceremony by Stephanie Lampkin

I don't know if it was the designs, the art work, or the presentation that I fell in love with the most, but I loved every bit of it. The was very hippie in Rome.

Fun Coat Looks for Fall - With matching Boots and Hats

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoying time off hopefully. I know I have lacked on updating the blog last week, but again I was attending the events for L.A. Fashion week. I had such an amazing time and met so many different people, I am currently sifting through my pics and notes to share with you fashionistas.

In the mean time, while I was in California, I noticed a lot of amazing fun coats and hats. I know the trend right now for coats are simple, one color fall coats, but I wanted to have a little fun. Here are a few fun coat options with matching hats and boots, that I loved the most. Stay tuned for my L.A. Fashion week updates.

A Little Red Dress - Seeing Red

Hi all! I am posting a quick look that I wore recently in between fashion shows and events I have been attending. Mixers, Phoenix fashion shows, meetups and dinners...the past week has been filled with a lot of events. I am currently preparing now to head out to L.A. Fashion Week, which starts tomorrow. This will be my first time attending L.A. shows, so I am excited and already sleepy just thinking about it.

Anyway, it will be nice to have a break from the heat and a trip to the beach. I can't wait to update you all!

Iggy Azalea Look for Less - Celebrity Style Spotlight

So I wanted to do something new on the blog today. When I first started the blog I used to write about celebrity style, but I never really provided looks for less. I also never gave a spotlight to just one particular celebrity, until I was recently going through a few pictures of Iggy Azalea.

If you don't already know Iggy, she is fairly new rapper who is from Australia. She is currently all over the radio waves and I have been a fan since she was underground. She was always a fashionista to me, but as she grew into the spot light, her style has flourished. I know we are used to seeing the Kardashians and Rihanna hold the crown for celebrity style, but Iggy has earned her spot in fashion in my book.

She is seen here rocking a glossy tan trench as a dress. My favorite look!

Even when she is dressed down, she looks amazing. Of course this is a look I love being from Chicago.

NFL x Fashion - A Creative sports team look

Today is the first day of October and making it officially Fall for me. The Fall Season also comes with Football season. Although I am not die heart sports fanatic, I do love going to the games and supporting my team. I personally do not like wearing jerseys and if the t-shirt does not have a vintage look, I do not find it fashionable for me. People say that it shouldn't be all about fashion, but those are the ones probably not reading this blog.

I think it is a lot more fun and creative for us to play around with clothing articles, to try to represent our team.

If you didn't know, I am from Chicago and I represent The Bears!

I found the top at Zara last year. When I purchased it, all I could think about was The Bears.
