Anniversary x The Coldest Winter Ever x Skateboart

It's my blog anniversary week! My first anniversary and I am really excited. I am still sleepy from my Saturday night celebration, one night of drinking leads to two nights of me tired as hell. But I have so many fun things this week, giveaways, a year in personal camera phone pics, my dinner pics, outfits, thank yous, favorite blogs I follow, and more. If you have been following me since day one, I truly truly thank you and excited to share more.

Lets start by getting into my look. So if you actually do read what I am typing, you will remember when I said I will be shooting more with the arts. Not just my love for fashion, but arts, wine, food, and living. I have been thrifting more as well.

So I ended up at a skate park that is about fifteen minutes from my home. I have driven past this park hundreds of times and never knew I would find such amazing street art.

I found this blue trench in Goodwill and it just so happens that the artwork in the bowl matched perfectly. The coat I bought for $7!

The skateboarders were also nice enough to give me room for pics and join me. His name is Joey, he was really cool and talented.

The art work is painted throughout a deep skateboarding bowl. It is a heart that is bleeding into roses. Symbolic for many things...one of them is more of a positive love for my creation and ambitions throughout the year.

For me to go from a very dark place before I started to blog and turn it into my love of life, creation, and my dreams...watched it bloom and in a way I have given myself life again. Cliche I know...but it is real.

Anyway, my obsession has made me hoard sunglasses. I have a problem. These Fendi frames are my coolest yet, I wore them to match the coat.

Accessorized it with my pink Marc Jacobs clutch, white Aldo heels, and D&G watch. I love mixing high and lows.

The coat is a suede blue and lightweight. Running in heels through that bowl took some talent.

The artwork changed to an icy blue at the bottom of the bowl. Again symbolic for me...from cold to hot in a flash!

You can't get more West Coast than this. I feel like I am cheating with my love for the Midwest...it still counts.

I wear these H&M boyfriend jeans at least twice a week. No shame!

I was ten years old...*sigh*

Coat: Goodwill; Shirt: Cotton On; Denim: H&M; Heels: Aldo; Purse: Marc Jacobs; Sunglasses: Fendi; Watch: D&G

I know there are a lot of pics, probably the most I posted in a single outfit, but its a celebration this week and I can do what I want! I just had a lot of fun capturing these pictures and the art work was amazing!

I am usually really dressy in my looks, so I am happy to bring a casual, yet cool look for the week.

What do you think of the look? Any ideas for my giveaway?

Here is the full picture of the mural painted buy Breeze, born and raised in Phoenix. Check out more art work at www.brezone.blogspot.com/

Cheers!
