Fun Coat Looks for Fall - With matching Boots and Hats

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoying time off hopefully. I know I have lacked on updating the blog last week, but again I was attending the events for L.A. Fashion week. I had such an amazing time and met so many different people, I am currently sifting through my pics and notes to share with you fashionistas. 

In the mean time, while I was in California, I noticed a lot of amazing fun coats and hats. I know the trend right now for coats are simple, one color fall coats, but I wanted to have a little fun. Fall Colors to Watch

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday. Before the fall season and fashion week hits, I wanted to go over my favorite colors of fall. The greys, browns, yellow, green, and my favorite burgundy. I love the fall season and I must say that I miss layers. I hope to see a lot of these colors mixed together this season. Lets start off with my fall color...

Obsession of the week: Grapic Tees & Pencil skirts

Ahh my two favorite loves, graphic T-shirts and pencil skirts, I love the combination of the two. I think my love for graphic T-shirts comes from me just wanting to have a comfortable fit, yet still have an edge. Throwing on a dressy bottom that is not expected is always a win in my book. I have worn this look for ages and I don't plan to stop. Throw on some simple jewelery and heels to complete the look.

Fourth of July Looks

The fourth of July is right around the corner, my favorite Holiday!! I am so excited, I wanted to create looks for the day. I put together looks for day and night, that you can wear to any event. I didn't want to take these looks too literal and very American, but also try to stick to a theme.

Orange is the new Black

This weeks obsession of the week is inspired by the color orange or tangerine or coral...all of them! It isn't often that you see a lot these colors in the fashion community...until now. Orange has been seen as one of the new colors to make a strong come back for Spring/Summer 2014. From lips to ready to wear collections this color is just vibrant enough for the summer.

Obsession of the week: Statement Pieces

My inspiration for this feature today is coming from the lovely Lupita Nyong'o Sag award look. If you have been living under a rock for the past few weeks, then you wouldn't know that Lupita is known for her role in the movie 12 Years a Slave. I can go on for days, but right now lets submerge ourselves in this AMAZING Gucci "statement" dress...

Obsession of the week!

Due to the below freezing temperatures across the states, I the need to post about fashionable warm trench coats. Although I live in Arizona, we do have our so called "winter" months that requires a light trench for the early mornings and late evenings. As a Midwestern, I know it can sometimes be a challenge to dress warm properly and still look chic. I can hear my grandmother now telling me "Cute isn't warm".
