Last Days of Summer - It's hot too!

I wanted to share a quick outfit post before I flood the blog with fashion week runway shows. This will be one of my last summer looks for the season. Even though it doesn't actually start cooling off and feeling a little like fall until the end of October in Arizona, I will still try my best to create looks for the fall.

I found these Rachel Roy shorts on sale, at Macy's again. They are a tweed fabric, mixed with hot pink and cream.

Annie Mae

Remember that suit that Angela Bassett wore to beat Ike's ass in What's Love Got to Do with It? That is the first thing that comes to my mind when I saw this suit. Yes, hers was white with a leopard blouse, but I like to think this is what she would've worn today. Anyway I recently had an obsession of the week for wide leg trousers and ran across this beautiful cream BCBG suit. I am in love with it. I actually need to get it tailored a bit more in my opinion, but I couldn't wait to wear it.

As mentioned in my living or existing post from yesterday, this is me seizing the moment on the day I turned 27. I can honestly say this year has been a great one so far, can't wait to share many other moments and looks I create with you.

Birthday Suit - 7

Today is my birthday, year of the Seven! I am currently in a hotel room getting ready for a spa treatment with mimosas right after. I wanted to share my brunch birthday suit. My birthday looks and plans have changed quite frequently and I had to make quick decisions.

I purchased this pink dress a few months back. I decided last minute to get it altered and add tulle to the back.

Alejandra G Heels - Look #2

I put together a second look for my now favorite Alejandra G Heels. I went with a simple all white look that was still fun. I spotted the skirt in H&M and feel in love with immediately. The skirt was made of the scuba material which gave it a very structured look. I finished the look off with rose gold accessories, a black and white polka dot clutch, and black sunglasses. The print on the heels makes make me want to create these fun looks.

Cali Part dos - Beach and Zara

I am finally getting back to normal life activities and now featuring the second part of my California trip. I was headed to the day after Birthday brunch and was only able to spend a small time frame at the beach. You can't go to California without going to the beach, even if it is in heels.
